How I work
One document, one owner
Every document I deliver names its owner, effective date and review cadence. Unowned documentation goes stale within a quarter.
Test the draft on a stranger
If someone who has never done the task can't complete it from the draft, the draft is wrong — not the reader.
Write the exceptions down
The workarounds people carry in their heads are the real process. Troubleshooting tables capture them before they walk out the door.
Plain language, always
Short sentences, active voice, one instruction per step. Jargon only where the reader already uses it.
